ANDREA BOCELLI RECORDS HIGHEST GROSSING SHOW AT TOTAL MORTGAGE ARENA AS VENUE HOSTS EVENTFUL DECEMBER
BRIDGEPORT, CT —The record-breaking, award-winning, multi-platinum-selling Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli added another record to his list when he performed a sold-out show at Total Mortgage Arena in Bridgeport, CT, on December 11, 2022.
Bocelli’s “Andrea Bocelli In Concert” is now the highest-grossing show in the history of Total Mortgage Arena.
“The opportunity for Andrea Bocelli to connect with his fans in Bridgeport has been a long time coming,” said OVG360’s Joe Dolan, General Manager of Total Mortgage Arena. “We are thankful for our partners at Gelb Productions for this once in a lifetime event. He is one of the world’s premier entertainers, and we are fortunate to have his only-area appearance this year in our venue. Many people traveled from near and far to see Bocelli in Bridgeport.”
The highly-anticipated tour featured his son Matteo and daughter Virginia joining him on stage to sing songs from their newly released A Family Christmas album. The record-breaking event also featured performances from Bocelli’s uplifting album Believe, his beloved crossover hits, famed love songs, and so much more.
As one of the most recognizable voices in the industry, and revered by fans internationally, Andrea Bocelli has been entertaining audiences for over 20 years, counting nearly 90 million records sold worldwide. Bocelli has shared his talents at major events including the Olympic Games, the World Cup, and Global Citizen.
Bocelli’s historical night in Bridgeport leads a string of big events for Total Mortgage Arena that also includes A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie on December 17; Disney on Ice presents Into the Magic from December 22-26; and Harlem Globetrotters World 2023 Tour on December 31. In a span of 60 days (November 1 – December 31) Total Mortgage Arena will host 44 events.
